As the days go by.. i'm beginning to be more and more convinced that..
I LIVE in the FOREST.
(there's a forest-like hill rite behind my blk in hall8 in ntu.. i.e. looking out thru my window.. u see nothing but dense forest vegetation... and it's habitants of coz.)

LOOK who came to visit yest nite!

a 3 to 4m long PYTHON!! it's reli huge la.. and it was found outside the level 3 guys' toilet. (yet another reason why gals shld always be allocated the rooms in the higher floors) imagine.. u step out of the toilet after bathing and ~wala!! huge ferocious python snarling at u. think u'll juz collapse in a useless heap and get swallowed whole by the hungry python la. somehow, guys are less prone to high-pitched shrieking and fainting. so they shld remain on the lower and more 'dangerous' floors. heh.

anyway.. the campus security called up some reli inexperienced group of ppl to capture this snake (it was shedding its skin btw). and they took like a full 30mins hitting the snake with the broom and frantically preventing it from escaping back into the safety of the forest behind (by doing seriously stupid stuff like grasping on to its tail and tugging it back..)
they finally got it trapped in the big black dustbin next to the snake. and they brought the python away TOGETHER with our hall's big black dustbin. yeh i noe wat u're thinking. didnt they bring their own snake-catching equipment?? i suspect they thot that it was a tiny snake.. the pail that they brought was too small for this humongous python la. anyway after sooooooo much struggling.. they caught the snake. so think i ought to give them some credit huh.

yeh. and a mth ago while busy mugging for the exams.. my roomie and i sighted 2 grey wild boars RIGHT outside our window trudging thru the undergrowth. and the other less harmless wildlife like squirrels, white-yellow funny looking birds and a gigantic cat (the size of a baby tiger cub) adds on to the list of exotic wildlife at our hall. my fren was saying tt maybe one day soon we'll see a man-eating komodo dragon lurking in the corridor. yeh rite. then hall 8 shld be just renamed to "the ntu reptile garden". =P

xmas is coming.
HK trip is coming.
reli reli looking forward to it!!!!!!! =)
