yup! we finally had a canoe gathering after eons of not mtg! most of the 67 peeps couldnt make it though.. and it so happened tt all 10 who came were either engineers OR lawyers! heh. (this shows tt canoeists not only haf brawn. we haf brains as well yeh.)
we went brewerkz.. the one at clarke quay. ruoling originally arranged it to be the one at indoor stadium.. so we can appreciate the erm... full moon and the kallang river and feel nostalgic abt canoeing all over again? hehe. but ya la. too inaccessible for those in the west. so oh well.
and i realized that MOST of the canoe gals haf transformed into gu-niang ladies!! (actually all la). heh. ahhh.. four years away from canoeing have demure-fied them =) shall not name the victims of demure-nization here. all grew their hair long.. started wearing skirts.. putting on make up. guess its all part and parcel of THE BECOMING of a LADY ba. sadly.. i have yet to reach tt lady stage. skirts yes. but where's my long hair and make up AND heels?? oh well.. that day will come. i guess.
oh.. and dun ask me why ALL of them managed to decolourize and turned fair. while i'm still like super BLACK!
AND dun ask why the glassess are bigger than our faces. - its impolite! heh.
