National Vertical Marathon 2007 !!
Vert Marathon's held at republic plaza this yr..
first time i'm attempting this kind of stunt u noe..
6o storeys climb!! madness.. it's no easy feat k. i
was like panting like nobody's business desperately
gasping for more OXYGEN in the narrow stairways..
so stuffy lahs. anyway.. here's a re-enactment of wat
happened..
5th storey: still strong and healthy=)
10th storey: ok! starting to tire but i'll make it!
20th storey: starts to pant.. perspiring profusely..
30th storey: wat?? u mean i'm ONLY half way there..
i feel like...like..like..
40th storey: think i'm slipping into subconsciousness..
where's the medic!!
50th storey: i see.. stars stars and more stars..
someone tell me where's the lift..
59th storey: finally FULLY understood the meaning
of so near yet so far...
60th storey: ok.. so this is it... can't believe i juz paid
$18 to torture myself...
anyway.. it's not tt bad la.. AFTER resting for a very
very long while after the climb.. i decided that there's
some sense of satisfaction for joining Vert Marathon
afterall.. but u noe.. this kind of stuff.. it's a once in a
life time experience (read: i won't join it again this life time)
